Innovative, Persistence, Determination

Dr.      Guadalupe Vanderhorst Rodriguez's remarkable achievements include the establishment of an on-campus childcare center in 1990 at Clinton Community College, a feat once deemed improbable. In 2017, the childcare center was closed. It housed the Small Business Center. And in 2024, it was converted once again. 

 

Through independent research, she delved into the stories of nine distinctive families in Clinton County, New York, culminating in the publication of "Tan Americans of Clinton County, New York."

 

This comprehensive compilation stands as a testament to her commitment and vision. Join us in exploring the inspiring narrative of Guadalupe's transformative projects, each a testament to her resilience and impact.

She has published several books from Health and Wellness to genealogy. She can help you to research your ancestors, with her 40 years of genealogical research she is able to help you to unravel your mysterious of your family tree.

Dr. Vanderhorst Rodriguez's visionary leadership played a pivotal role in the establishment of a Childcare Center at Clinton Community College. This nurturing space stands as a testament to her dedication to fostering education and support for the community's youngest members.

Tan Americans of Clinton County New York

Driven by a passion for preserving heritage, Dr. Vanderhorst Rodriguez initiated the genealogy project "Tan Americans of Clinton County, New York." Through meticulous research and creativity, she crafted a narrative that celebrates the histories of nine families, contributing to the cultural tapestry of Clinton County, New York. These families included at least four generations of the Clark, Crabtree, Danford, Elliott, Haynes, Soper, Tankard and Wheeler families. She was featured in the television program called "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE".

Kicotan Acupuncture

At the intersection of traditional healing and holistic well-being, Dr. Vanderhorst Rodriguez brought to life Kicotan Acupuncture. This endeavor reflects her commitment to providing a holistic approach to health, harmonizing mind, body, and spirit for the well-being of the community.

Grandmother's Voices
